First Day of "School"
Today was Evie's first day of preschool. She is going to a one day a week program, Mondays from 9-12, that a friend of ours is running out of her home. There are 3 other little girls going with Evie right now, and they're all right around the same age. Evie had a fantastic first day! She loved playing with the dolls and toys that Miss Robin has in her school room, and they read stories and made a really pretty leaf craft.
16 Weeks
This week is so true to life with a 3.5 year old- Evie did NOT want to hold the board this week. ;) She wanted to hold her Teddy, that is what made her happy, we couldn't get a smile with the board to save our lives!! Oh well, some days are just like that right?
16 weeks and everyone is telling me I look "SO PREGNANT." Not sure if that's good or bad, but I'll take it. ;) I've switched to maternity clothes now, particularly for bottoms- the hairband trick is not cutting it anymore! We're all dressed up for the Sunday meeting in these pics, isn't Evie's sweater dress the cutest??
I think I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday!! Not entirely positive, it's hard to tell this early, but it was little butterflies in the evening, and I'm pretty sure it was baby. I didn't feel Evie move until later (I think closer to 20 weeks actually? I'd have to go back and check), but the second time around I think you know more what to watch for. I'll keep you posted if/when I feel it again.
We're down to three weeks until my anatomy scan to check on baby's health and development- and to find out the sex!! I am so excited, I can't wait!! I have something really cute planned for the gender reveal, so stayed tuned for that.
Also, want to hear more about nausea?? I think it's finally going away!!! Imagine me doing a crazy happy dance over here, because I can finally eat food without feeling sick- and I actually WANT to eat food! I made chili yesterday and it was SOOO delicious. I'm so happy to finally want to eat again, maybe now I'll start putting on some pregnancy pounds. Not too many though thank you! ;)

15 Weeks
Evie decided it was a good week for a "silly face" photo. :) She is so funny these days, she loves to make jokes and say "I'm just joking!" and "Silly me!" all the time. It's so fun to have her be a part of taking bump pictures this time around.
15 weeks, and maybe I'm seeing a bit of improvement in the nausea department?? Are you tired of me talking about being nauseous? Because I'm tired of being nauseous. ;) Had a doctor's appointment this past week, all looks good- baby's heartbeat was 148 and everything is right on track.
I'm wearing maternity clothes a lot more now, a friend gave me a bunch that I'm so thankful for, especially because there was a ton of dress clothes in there! That's always the hardest piece for meetings. I thought it would be fun to sometimes compare bump pics from Evie and see the difference. I feel like I'm huge already, but actually there isn't a huge difference from last time, just a bit. I think I'm just "rounded" this time earlier. Here's 15 weeks from 2010.

14 Weeks
Week two of bump pictures and I'm already slacking on getting them up on time!! Oh well, in my defense we were on vacation for a few days so we've been busy. :) So I'm still waiting for the nausea to completely leave, it's definitely getting better, but it's not gone yet. And some food is starting to sound appetizing, but the list is still pretty short. And breakfast food continues to rain supreme!
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to check in on things, but it's nothing earth-shattering. And with the doppler at home and hearing the heartbeat so much, I don't count down the days until a doctor appointment just to hear the baby, which is nice.
I did the doppler with Evie for the first time today, it was really cool to see her reaction. I told her it was kind of like a stethoscope at the doctor's so we could hear the baby's heartbeat, and she got really excited and wanted to hold it herself. It was really fun to see this first "interaction" between siblings, I can't wait until she can feel the baby kick and such.
